Coaching
One-on-one coaching for people who want to better understand what is shaping their lives and develop a more compassionate, intentional way of engaging themselves, their relationships, and the world around them.
A Different Kind of Conversation
Many of us are used to conversations that revolve around solving problems, giving advice, or moving quickly to figure out the next step. Sometimes that’s exactly what’s needed.
But there are also seasons when we sense that something deeper is shaping the way we live, relate, lead, or respond, and we aren’t quite sure how to put words to it.
Coaching offers space for those conversations.
Rather than rushing toward answers, we become curious together about what is happening beneath the surface. We notice the experiences, beliefs, and familiar ways of responding that may be shaping the present, then explore ways of engaging your life with greater awareness, compassion, and freedom.
Our conversations may help you:
better understand what has shaped the ways you think, feel, and respond
make room for emotions and experiences that may be difficult to name
see yourself, other people, and complicated situations with greater nuance
clarify what matters to you and what you deeply need or long for
choose responses that more closely reflect what you value and who you want to become
Where We Begin
Coaching begins with what feels most important to you. You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal or know exactly where the conversation will lead.
Some people come carrying a difficult decision. Others are navigating conflict, leadership, burnout, relationships, transitions, or questions they haven’t known how to ask out loud.
Wherever we begin, what feels most present often becomes a doorway into a deeper conversation. Sometimes the work is gaining clarity. Sometimes it’s finding language for something difficult to name. Sometimes it’s discovering a different way of understanding or responding to what you’re experiencing.
Making space to understand your life more deeply can change the way you meet whatever comes next.
The Coaching Journey
Connection Call
20-min Zoom Call
We’ll talk about what brings you to coaching, answer your questions, and consider whether working together feels like a good fit.
Getting Started
Naming Your Focus
You’ll complete an intake questionnaire to help name what you hope to explore, review and sign the coaching agreement, and schedule your first session.
Sessions 1-5
Five 50-minute sessions
You may come with a particular goal, or we may begin with what feels most present that day. What you are carrying often gives us a useful place to begin and may help us understand more of what is shaping it. We’ll leave a few minutes at the end to schedule our next conversation.
Reflection
Pausing to Look Back
Before our final session, you’ll complete a brief reflection on the hopes you brought into coaching, what has changed, what remains unfinished, and what you want to carry forward as this season comes to a close.
Session 6
Closing the Season
We’ll use your reflection as a guide, revisit the hopes you began with, notice what has changed, make space for what still feels unfinished, and consider what you want to carry into the next season of your life.
My Approach
I see coaching as a collaborative process. Every coaching relationship is different because every person and every season is different.
I’ll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and offer observations that help you notice what may be easy to overlook on your own. Depending on what we’re exploring, I may introduce story work, reflective exercises, practical tools, or simple practices that support the work we’re doing together.
I hope our time gives you space to be honest about what is happening, take meaningful risks in how you show up, and experience difficult things being met with patience, compassion, and care. I also hope you leave with more than insight. You may carry clearer language, a deeper understanding of what is shaping you, and practices that help you continue moving toward freedom after our conversations end.
My hope is not simply that our conversations feel meaningful, but that they help you meet your own life and the people around you with greater freedom and faithfulness.
Six conversations will not answer every question, but they can begin to invite a new way of engaging the questions you carry.
Investment
Coaching is offered in seasons of six conversations. This creates enough space to build trust, notice patterns, and thoughtfully engage whatever we’re exploring together.
A coaching season is $750 and includes six 50-minute sessions conducted over Zoom.
The first step is simply a conversation.
FAQs
-
Coaching is for people who want to better understand themselves and respond to their lives with greater intention. Some people come with a specific decision or goal. Others simply know something feels stuck, confusing, or difficult to name.
If you’re unsure whether coaching is the right fit, that’s completely okay. That’s one of the reasons I begin with a Connection Call.
-
The Connection Call is a 25-minute Zoom conversation where we’ll get to know one another, talk about what brings you to coaching, and answer any questions you have.
It’s also a chance for us to consider together whether coaching feels like the right next step.
-
Coaching and therapy both create space for meaningful conversations, but they serve different purposes.
Coaching isn’t a substitute for therapy or mental health treatment. Rather than diagnosing or treating mental health conditions, coaching focuses on helping you reflect on your experiences, notice patterns, gain clarity, and consider how you want to move forward.
If I believe another form of support would better serve you, I’ll tell you honestly and help you think through what that next step could be.
-
My Christian faith shapes the way I understand people, dignity, suffering, growth, and hope. It informs the questions I ask, the way I listen, and the way I think about change.
Coaching isn’t Bible study or discipleship, though conversations about faith are welcome when they’re important to what we’re exploring. My aim is to create a space where you can engage your life honestly and thoughtfully, while being transparent about the perspective from which I work.
-
I intentionally work in seasons of six sessions. Beginning and ending well both matter to me, and I find that a defined season creates space for thoughtful work without assuming the relationship should continue indefinitely.
Six sessions also give us enough time to build trust, notice patterns, explore what is shaping your experience, and reflect on what you’re learning before bringing our time together to a thoughtful close.
Sometimes six sessions are enough. Sometimes, after taking time to reflect, we may decide another season would be helpful.

If cost would keep coaching out of reach, please don’t let that stop you from reaching out. I reserve a limited number of reduced-cost and complimentary coaching spaces each year for people who are committed to the process but unable to afford the full investment.
-
I intentionally keep my coaching practice small so I can give each person my full attention.
